Positioning & Background
Independent software developer. I design system architecture, select toolchains, and implement solutions using AI to accelerate reasoning, implementation, and rigorous verification. Author and maintainer of Cardinal — a lightweight daemonless container runtime in Go.
My primary technical discipline bridges low-level systems engineering (Go, Linux primitives), modern web architectures (TypeScript, Nuxt 4), and disciplined AI-assisted development. I avoid inflated titles or fabricated achievements: my track record is directly verifiable through open-source code.
Cardinal, Wings & Panel
Cardinal originated from the need for a lightweight, fast, and self-contained tool to run isolated workloads without the resource overhead of heavy background daemons. The architecture directly harnesses Linux kernel primitives: namespaces (PID, Mount, Net, UTS, IPC), cgroups v2 CPU and memory controllers, OverlayFS, and bridge networking.
For infrastructure administration, the ecosystem is complemented by the Cardinal Wings daemon (Go, REST, SSE, SFTP) and the full-featured Cardinal Panel web dashboard (Nuxt 4, Vue 3, Drizzle ORM, WebSocket, Monaco Editor) for unified game server and container orchestration.
Environment & Tooling
The development loop centers on OpenCode, Gemini 3.8 Flash, and Git. AI is deployed to accelerate codebase navigation, edge-case testing, and code synthesis while retaining strict human ownership over system boundaries and design.
Analyzing technical specs, generating test suites, boundary checking, and refactoring.
Strict version control, atomic commits, automated CI pipelines, and public release distribution.
Working Principles
Honest positioning: no exaggerated credentials or fabricated corporate titles. I architect systems, write and verify code, and solve genuine engineering challenges.
AI-assisted methodology: modern LLMs are a developer force-multiplier. I leverage OpenCode and Gemini 3.8 Flash for rapid prototyping, deep refactoring, and edge-case discovery while maintaining absolute ownership of architecture and quality.
Open source & practical utility: core projects are published on GitHub under open licenses with comprehensive technical documentation and reproducible workflows.
